The world's first triangle stamp.

The world's first triangle stamp, released on September 1, 1853 by the British Cape of Good Hope. British colonial authorities wanted to design a kind of stamp with different style from British stamps and convenient for Post Office clerks with very low cultural level sorting mails, so they printed the unprecedented triangle stamps in London. The main pattern is the Seated Statue of Hope Goddess, this set of stamps is also one of the world’s precious stamps.
